They have always been there. They knew of the last dinosaurs. They were the witnesses of the bird boom, the appearance of large mammals and finally the coming of mankind.
All that they want is to gain a simple drop of our blood. It is the price of this blood that has always kept us at war:
This war takes on many forms:
- The war of spots, or a touchy nervy war in the French Camargue & in Canada.
- A modern war in the huge cities with the coming of a new virus in metropoles like New York, Singapore & London.
- The giant war against malaria which has killed more humans than all the wars that man has fought throughout the history of mankind.
Today, some scientists are restoring the mosquitoes name and reputation. They use them as amplifiers to detect a virus in the blood of the sick.
Studies to elaborate new anti-coagulants and perhaps tomorrow the mosquito will be used as a living syringe to vaccinate the human race against all sorts of illnesses, and perhaps even malaria.
