The Leurre project, a collaboration among laboratories in Belgium, Switzerland and France with the support of the European Community, studies the possibility of creating a mixed society of cockroaches and autonomous micro robots or InsBots (insect-robots, based on the Alice micro robot).
After four years of scientific work the results are astonishing: they testify that a group of robots can influence the behaviour of an animal society.
