“Turning dizzy” tells us the story of healthy people suddenly turning into patients because of motion sickness and of healthy astronauts getting sick in space. Professor Floris L. His scientific breakthroughs let to grants by NASA to investigate the effect of specific medication on space motion sickness, as well as disorientation in astronauts.
The European Space Agency (ESA) appointed him as a Principal Investigator (PI) for studying the vestibular function in cosmonauts after return to earth. It resulted into Aurea, the Antwerp University Research Centre for Equilibrium and Aerospace.
